This holiday was fantastic, very peaceful and relaxing. The cottage was beautiful, cosy and the gardens were wonderful too. The couple who owned the cottage were very helpful and lovely. We took our 2yr son with us and he loved walking around the gardens every morning, so it is very child friendly. There is plenty to do in the town it's self as well as the surrounding areas. As we didn't have a car we so went to places by train, Battle Abbey is a wonderful place to visit as is Hastings. The only downside to our holiday was that we didn't have a car, which you would definitely need as there are no regular taxi services but there are buses and trains around every half hour. We would have another holiday there, and we recommend this to everyone.
